From 17 to 19 September 2025, the GNS Group will be presenting its latest developments and experiences in dismantling, disposal and nuclear packaging at KONTEC in Dresden.
Our plenary presentations will cover topics such as the ‘Rip & Ship’ strategy at Unterweser NPP, the current status of the ZerKon project and the importance of radiological planning for the dismantling of the bioshield.
GNS will also be strongly represented at KONTEC Direkt and in the Speakers' Corner – with topics including the development of the T-Box as a high-performance packaging solution, the mobile concreting of final disposal containers and the experimental determination of the caloric properties of concrete.
A special highlight: the first mobile drum measurement device for determining reference nuclides in low-level waste with elevated dose rates.
